I was working on flash and all of the sudden this screen pops up telling me I've downloaded illegal Content and under section blah blah I dont give a fuck, I have to pay $200. -__- At first I was freaking out... because I thought i was really in trouble and i dont even have $200. Then i decided to stop acting like a B*tch and figure this out. So I looked it up on my Ipad and found out it was a virus, so I put my laptop in safe mode and system restored it a couple of days back.

Seriously... That scared the mess out of me! and to think i almost put in the system restore disc to WIPE out the whole system... people now a days really know what they're doing onlone O__O

ANYWAY!! right now I'm working on a very hard part in syndicates. hopefully in two weeks ill be done! maybe sooner... :) so yeah. rememeber that... "MoneyPak = Scam" it can easily be restored.

Thank goodness you had the sense to look it up first! I had that happen to me a few months ago as well! Glad you didn't get suckered into to paying them, but it really sucks to lose any work that you've been working on :{
yeah... ive lost acouple of impotant stuff due to viruses. but then again, that was my fault for not protecting my laptop

It's online. Anyway my laptop died for no reason and hitting power makes a nails on the chalkboard sound and it might blow up
sounds like your laptop over heated. and you need to clean the dust from the inside maybe even get new parts somewhere...
when there is any type of strange event randomly popping up on your computer, it's usually foul play. remember that virus that acts like your computer is under attack to get you to download some kinda software to "combat" it? it even showed a fake computer scan with your control panel and what not, and the software itself is a worm. yeah, that made the news back in 2009 it was so bad. by the way, a word of advice, if it comes back within a day or so you might be able to get rid of it through your command prompt, though i only recommend it if you know what the virus definition is, because one wrong move could really mess up your computer.
wow... i honestly didn't know that was a virus too. And yeah I read on a forum about the command prompt. as you say it can really mess up your laptop if you type it in wrong, so i decided not to do it. Thanks for the heads up.
